Relaxin, a plant-based medicine, contains a dried aqueous-alcoholic extract of valerian (Valeriana officinalis L. radix) that has a sedative effect. Relaxin is indicated for the reduction of nervousness in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age in cases of sleep disorders or insomnia, after any serious illness has been ruled out.How to use
Take 1 to 2 tablet(s) half an hour before bedtime, to be taken with a glass of water. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 2 tablets per day. Relaxin is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Composition
Each tablet contains 500 mg of dried aqueous-alcoholic (36.3% v/v) extract of valerian (Valeriana officinalis L. radix). Other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, talc, lactose, titanium dioxide, glycerol, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica.
Warnings
If you are allergic to dried aqueous-alcoholic extract of valerian root or any of the substances in this medicine, you should not use Relaxin. If your complaint does not lessen, or even gets worse, contact your doctor.
Possible side effects
Relaxin may cause allergic reactions (sometimes delayed). In rare cases, gastrointestinal symptoms may occur: nausea, abdominal cramps.
Storage instructions
Store Relaxin out of the sight and reach of children, below 30°C, to protect from light and moisture, in the outer carton. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date.
